By entering the Hi-Life Fest competition by Life continental Lager Beer, you agree to the terms and conditions clearly outlined below:


  1. This competition is targeted at but not restricted to citizens in the Eastern region of Nigeria, aged 18 and above; in that sense, participants situated in other parts/regions of the country are open to enter for the competition and have to be above 18 and above. The  directors, members, partners, employees or agents of, or consultants of Nigerian Breweries Plc “NB Plc” – The trademark licensee of Life continental Lager Beer in Nigeria  or any other person who directly or indirectly control or is controlled by NB Plc; or a supplier of goods or services in connection with this promotion, or the relatives and/or family members of the employees and family members of the respective advertising and promotional agencies, media and PR agencies, consultants, directors, associates and trading partners of such organizations and persons are all exempted from this competition.
  2. There is no entry fee or purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  3. This competition will run across the brand’s social media pages; on Instagram @lifelager_ng Twitter @lifelager_ng , Facebook @LifeLagerNigeria 
  4. Entries sent on either of the platforms will be accepted, as long as the rules are followed.
  5. Entry information for the competition is clearly shown on Life Lager social media accounts; across all platforms.
  6. There shall be a maximum of one (1) video entry submitted per participant throughout the competition.
  7. Registration runs from September 5th 2022 to September 25th 2022 and the competition ends in November.
  8. NB Plc shall bear no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason before the stipulated deadline.
  9. NB is not responsible for logistics or funding of any participant invited to the audition center.
  10. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows;
    1. Upload a 60 second video of you singing any high life song
    2. Use the hashtags #TuruUgoLota #HiLifeFest2022
    3. Only participants following the brand across platforms would be eligible to participate in the competition.
    4. The form in the link made available on the bio of the social media platforms should be filled out by participants
  11. NB reserves the rights to select only the best entries and those that followed all rules to move to the next stage for the auditions.
  12. NB Plc is not responsible for any inaccurate or misrepresented details of the competition supplied to any participant by a third party.
  13. NB reserves the rights to use images and clips of people from the auditions in the course of the competition as well as after the conclusion of the competition for the purpose of promoting the brand.
  14. 50 Million worth of prizes up for grabs at the end of the competition;

    2. The prize is not transferable and may not be deferred, changed, or exchanged for any other item by the winner.
    3. The prize is subject to availability and NB Plc reserves the right to substitute the prize with an equivalent value without giving notice.
    4. The timeline for when the prize will be given cannot be determined by the winners, NB reserves to rights to reward cash prize at their convenience.
  16. NB Plc reserves the right to withdraw the prize from any winner that cannot be contacted after reasonable efforts.
  17. NB Plc’s decision in respect to all matters regarding the competition, especially in picking the contestants and winner shall be final and it shall not be obliged to provide any reason whatsoever.
  18. By participating in this competition, each competitor hereby consents to the terms of the NB’s Privacy Policy available here. The participants also agree to the processing of their respective personal information in accordance with extant data protection legislation in Nigeria and to the use of such personal information for the purpose of future communications from NB Plc to the participants, provided that the participants shall be entitled at any time to opt out of such communications.
  19. By entering into this competition, the participants agree to the exclusive use of their names and/or likeness (video or image or sound) and their entries without compensation, for the purpose of NB Plc’s promotional and marketing purposes. All (including the entry videos) and any materials, including publicity materials, will be the sole property of NB Plc and each competitor hereby waives his right to make any claim arising from any proprietary interests in the material or entry.
